Now that the euphoria of last year’s Kilimanjaro expedition and new World Record has subsided, Jimmy has his sights firmly set on a new challenge – PUSH UK.
Starting on 25 June 2007 Jimmy will be attempting one of the nation's best loved endurance events, Land’s End to John O’Groats. 
This challenge will take him from one end of the United Kingdom to the other, camping as he goes, whatever the weather.
Jimmy will use his hand cranked road tricycle this time instead of the off-road Flyer hand-bike that was used last summer to summit Kilimanjaro.
He aims to complete his PUSH UK in around 4 weeks and will be accompanied the whole way by Claire’s father Peter Stickler. A safety car will join the expedition and will carry spare equipment as well as the camping gear.
Use this site to follow Jimmy’s progress as he trains and prepares for this extraordinary feat and then as he works his way up the country.
An itinerary will be published and you are invited to join him for a leg – on a bike or in the car. Just remember to bring a tent and a toothbrush.
