John O'Groats to Lands End

Jimmy with car fully loadedNever one to sit still for long, whilst recovering from his Kilimanjaro Expedition, Jimmy set off on his next trip - only this time something closer to home.

With the car fully loaded, Jimmy and two friends, Duncan and John, headed up to John O'Groats, the most Northerly point of mainland Britain, for the start of their End2End challenge. Beginning the JourneyThe route they had selected was over 1000 miles and they planned to cycle it in 3 weeks, john on his standard touring bike andJimmy and Duncan on their road handbikes. Both paraplegics Jimmy and Duncan set up an ingenious rif to tow their wheelchairs with all their camping gear piled high on top – like some sort of crazy caravan procession.
