Jimmy's Updates...

 Friday 2nd December

Well, time for an update.  Not a very breezy, or lengthy, one this time I’m afraid.

It’s been a pretty tough month or so up at uni.  With one thing and another I’ve been off ill for 4 out of the last 6 weeks and the nature of the illnesses I’ve been getting aren’t much fun either.  Sort of hide under your duvet and hope it all goes away kind of stuff really.  Pretty bad start for university life all in all.  I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve made it to the union, and that’s discluding the thumb and little finger!  Not great for my social life.  I think I’ve only been out and exercised on an equally pathetic number of occasions after being banned for the time being by the doc.  Crap!  And the best bit about going up to university for the first time in two weeks, as I did toady, is that instead of a gentle re-entry into life it dawns on you that you now have to complete a month’s work in a week and a half ready for exams.  Oh what joy!

I genuinely do find it interesting but when you get so far behind and have to chain yourself to the desk to dig your way out of a hole this size the story is different.  Oh well, better knuckle down and get on with it I suppose… so no disturbing me now!!  And wish me luck!!

On the up side we had a great trust fund bash the Saturday before last in London, this one organised by the beautiful young Paula.  Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time, with the whole venue to ourselves well over 100 people turned out to enjoy the entertainment laid on to cater for all tastes.  It really was a splendid occasion and I think we all hope she organises another..!!!

Right, must dash, another over Xmas when I’ve cleared some of this work

Jimmy.
